Itinerary / Highlights

Day 01: Arrival in Kathamandu . Overnight in Hotel

Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital. You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel; here you will be formally introduced to your Guide and the activities to be enjoyed over the next few days. We will also ask for your passport photographs and any other details required for your trek permits, at this stage.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour in Changunarayan & Bhaktapur . Overnight in Hotel B

After breakfast Sightseeing tour to Changunarayan temple & Bhaktapur After Visit to temple walk around 2 hrs then you will be pick up at Phedi for the visit to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a famous place to see the mo untain ranges and sunrise. It lies at an altitude of 2211m and is located 30 km north east of Kathmandu. If weather is good, one can see great views of Himalayas including Annapurna, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa and Gauri Shanker, Ganesh Himala. The mountain flight that goes each day to show Everest and other Himalayas from Kathmandu goes via the Nagarkot route. Overnight in Nagarkot.

Day 03: Drive to Panauti, Namobuddha & Dhulikhel. Overnight in Hotel B

Many visitors go to Nagarkot to see sunrise. Once the sun begins to rise from behind the Himalayas, it looks spectacular as mountain changes its colour. Staying in Nagarkot & not having sunrise is not fare so after having exotic view of sunrise back to hotel. Then after having breakfast drive for the visit of Panauti and Namobuddha. From Namobudha drive back to Dhilukhel .Overnight in Hotel.

Day 04: Dhulikhel to Kathmandu Sightseeing on Kapan Monastry & Baudhanath & Pashupatinath .Overnight in Hotel B

After Breakfast drive for the visit of Kapan Monastery and Seto Gumba of Boudhnath. Kapan Monastery which is an excellent centre for learning about Tibetan Buddhism. This 4-day retreat will introduce you to various meditation techniques and other Tibetan related subjects .Baudhanath stupa is the biggest in Nepal is situated east of the capital. This is also known as Khasti Chitya and is considered as one of the oldest stupas in the country & continue visit of Pashupatinath Temple. Pashupatinath is one of the holiest pilgrimage destinations for all the Hindus of the world. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the trinity and the guardian (patron) deity of Nepal. This is one of the oldest temples, situated on the banks of the Holy Bagmati River. It is double – roofed golden temple with four triple silver doorways. Pashupatinath covers and area of 281 hectares, which is one of the biggest temple complexes in Nepal.

Day 05: Drive to Bandipur Village .Overnight in Hotel B

Drive to Bandipur. Bandipur, a pleasant and charming hill town is situated on a hill-crest that offers a magnificent view of the central Himalayas and the Marshyangdi valley. This ancient Newari mountain town located somewhat mid-way between Kathmandu and Pokhara .Untouched by modernization, and laced with an abundance of ancient houses, temples of great significance, and historical architecture, this medieval-era town boasts festivals all year around, besides plethora of cultural offerings. Neighbouring Magar, Gurung, Bahun, Chhetri, Damai and Sarki villages all contrib ute to the cultural diversity of the region. The hilltop town not only overlooks the incredible expanse of the Marsyanngdi river valley, but also offers a breathtaking sweep of the Himalayan range, from Langtang in the east to Dhaulagiri in the west. From nearby hilltops, one can see as far as Manakamana and Gorkha to east the great Chitwan plains to the south, among others, this is ideal place for two, three day hiking in the surrounding hills

Day 06: Bandipur to Pokhara .Overnight in Hotel B

After having breakfast, drive from Bandipur to Pokhara. Pokhara is one of the most picturesque spots of Nepal. Its beauty is enhanced by its lakes, which have their source in the glacial region of the Annapurna range of Himalayas. Once can feel it, taking boat ride.

Day 07: Sightseeing in Pokhara. Overnight in Hotel B

Early morning drive to Sarangkot, a ridge road leads to Sarangkot along with panoramic view of northern mountains as well as Pokhra Valley. Annapurna range and overlook the valley of Pokhara to enjoy the eye fast of the east. A view tower has been built in the top of Sarangkot hill at an elevation of 1,600 meters. You will be pick up from Sarangkot & drive to Pokhara. Then enjoy sightseeing in Pokhara. Pokhara is a place of remarkable natural beauty. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificence of fishtailed Machhapuchhre rising behind it make it an ideal setting to spend a few days in Pokhara. You can visit Phewa Lake which is the central attraction of Pokhara ,Barahi Temple,Devi’s Fall,Mahendra Cave, Seti Gandaki Gorge & The Old Bazar + Bindyabasini Temple

Day 08: Pokhara to Nayapul (Drive) & Trek to Tikhedhunga .Overnight in Trekking Lodges BLD

After breakfast at hotel you could drive by car or van for one and half hours to Nayapul. Then you start your trekking. The first part of your trek is easy passing through numerous small villages and settlements. Afterwards you could ascend gently to the final destination of the day. The majority people here are Gurung and their religion is Buddhist. They are engaged in agricultural activities, tourism business and some in Gorkha and Indian regiments

Day 09: Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani(2675 m) Overnight in Trekking Lodges BLD

Trek from Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani (2675 m.) and it takes about six hours. To begin your trek, you could ascend steeply for the early 2 hours and then ascend gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti, Magar villages. On the way, you could see good view of Machhapuchhre or Fish Tail (6997m.), Huinchuli (6441m.), and Annapurna (7219m.) South. Now your trail is quite easier passing through forest and descends gently up to the final camp. You could see some of the wild life such as monkey and various species of birds.

Day 10: Ghorepani to Poonhil(3232 m) Day hike . Overnight in Trekking Lodges BLD

Early morning there will be trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3180m.) to Tadapani (2675m.) which takes about five and half hours. Early morning trip to Poon Hill (3232m.) to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhre (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other numerous snowcapped mountain peaks. & Day hike.

Day 11: Ghorepani to Tadapani (2650 m.) Overnight in Trekking Lodges BLD

After breakfast trek Ghorepani to Tadapani (2650 m.) through the deep forests of rhododendrons, bamboos and oaks. En route, you frequently see waterfalls, rocks, wild animals, local birds and green scenarios. Tadapani is a small village surrounded by beautiful forests which grants you a magnificent view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail, and Annapurna II and so on.

Day 12: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1950m) Overnight in Trekking Lodges BLD

Trek from Tadapani (2675m.) to Ghandruk (1950m.) and it takes about three hours. It is very easy trek by descending gently all the way through rhododendron, oak and other kinds of dense forests. You could hear different kinds of birds chirping on the way. This is one of the popular destinations for the birds' lovers. Ghandruk is a big Gurung village. There is a handicraft centre and Gurung museum. From this village you could see good views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna (7455m.), Annapurna III (7755m.) and Fishtail.

Day 13: Ghandruk to Pothana(1990 m) Overnight in Trekking Lodges BLD

Trek from Ghandruk (1950m.) to Pothana (1990m.) which takes about six hours. First part of your trek is steeply down following stone staircase to Kimbu (Bee hive). Kimbu or Bee hive is located at the elevation of 1200 meters on the bank of Modi Khola. Now your trail steeply ascends following the stone staircase up to Landruk. The trail ascends gently for early two hours and again ascends steeply for an hour to Deurali (2150m.) passing through Tolkha village (1850m.). From this point you can see panoramic view of Dhaulagiri I (8167m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Hiunchuli (6441m.), Fishtail (6997m.), Annapurna III (7755m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.) and Lamjung Himal (6930m.). Now the rest of the trail descends gently down to Dhampus passing through Pothana village (1900m.).

Day 14: Pothana to Dhampus Phedi(1113 m) & drive to Pokhara Overnight in Hotel BL

Trek from Pothana to Dhampus Phedi (1113m.) which takes about four hours. Your trail descends gradually for at least an hour and follows gravel road for two hours and then steeply descends to Phedi passing through Dhampus village, paddy fields and forest protected by local community. Upon your arrival at Dhampus Phedi, you could take a vehicle to reach Pokhara.

Day 15: Drive from Pokhara to Tansen .Overnight in Hotel B

After Breakfast drive to Tansen. Tansen is among a few towns outside the capital which bears a rich legacy of the traditional art and architecture. Perched on the lap of the spectacular Srinagar Danda (hill) Tansen commands a gorgeous panorama of the Himalayas as well as the plains of Terai. Located at an elevation of 1310 meters Tansen is a pleasant place to visit during any season of the year. Tansen is a good put off point for short as well as long treks. You can visit some of the beautiful points on the Kali Gandaki river such as Ranighat Palace and Ramdi Ghat the dense and serene woody slopes of Rambhapani and Satyawati lake.

Day 16: Drive from Tansen to Lumbini. Overnight in Hotel B

Drive to Lumbini. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, the apostle of peace, compassion and non-violence. He was born here in 543 BC. Lumbini, the holy birthplace of the lord Buddha and UNESCO World Heritage site is being exposed as an international pilgrimage and tourist destination in recent years.

Day 17: Sightseeing at Lumbini . Overnight in Hotel B

After Having breakfast Visit of different Monastries of Lumbini Garden including Ma yadevi temple. The Ashokan Pillar,Puskarni - The Sacred Pool, Sanctum-Sanctorum of the Birthplace

Day 18: Drive from Lumbini to Chitwan. Overnight in Resort BD

After having breakfast Drive to Chitwan .Subtropical land of Terai is one of the few remaining habitat of Royal Bengal tiger and great one horned rhinoceros, small herd of wild elephants are occasionally seen t 309 species of birds including gangetic dolphin, waterfowl - both migratory and residential including two species of crocodile. Meeting & briefing of the activities, Lunch & activities like Elephant Safari / Jungle Walk / Nature walk with Boat ride.

Day 19: Jungle Safari activities. Overnight in Resort BLD

Wake up call followed by tea/ coffee. Bird watching / Elephant Safari / Jungle walk. After breakfast Crocodile walk, walk through grassland and forest upstream of the Narayani River. Board boats to observe crocodiles along the banks while floating back to the camp. After Lunch activities like elephant Safari /Jungle Walk / Visit Observation Tower / Nature Walk with Boat Ride. Evening dinner with followed by (Tharu stick dance) , Cultural activities.

Day 20/21: Special day of entire the trip to Visit the orphanage or local schools, teaching at school and cultural activities .Overnight at Local Houses BLD

Wake up call followed by tea/ coffee. Activities like Bird Watching / Elephant Safari / Jungle Walk & drive back to Kathmandu & Drive to orphanage or local school. It is the very special day of entire the trip. People are welcome to do some volunteer work in orphanage such as teaching, cooking, farming and playing with children.

Day 22: Chitwan to Trishuli river raft. Overnight in Tent BLD

After breakfast you will be drive to raft-put-in point, Charaudi, meet raft our raft crew and after short technical briefing raft down to Kuringhat for 4 hrs.

Day 23: Rafting & Drive back to Kathmandu. BL

After breakfast, continue raft down through some exciting rapid to raft-put-out point, Gaighat/ fishling. After lunch, pick up to rive to Kathmandu.

Day 24 : Sightseeing in Patan, Swayambhunath & Kathmandu Durbar Square .

After Breakfast, you will be driven for an excursion to Patan city including Palace area. The city is believed to have been built during the reign of Vira Deva in 299 A.D. In Patan it is possible to admire the architectural look of temples: Krishna Mandir, Jagat Narayan temple consecrated to Lord Vishnu, Kumbheshwar Mahadev, Hiranya Varna Mahavibar and Mahaboudha, Mangal bazaar and other visits of Tibetan Refugee camp.

After patan continue sightseeing tour to Kathmandu Durbar Square including Kasthamandap temple, house of living Goddess Kumari and Swyambhunath stupa( Monkey Temple)

Day 25: Free Day of your own. Overnight in Hotel BD

Enjoy a day exploring some of the quieter streets of Kathmandu, stocking up on souvenirs and presents for those back home. This evening you have a farewell dinner, you will be picked up in good time.

Day 26: International Departure B

You will be met at your hotel and taken to the airport in good time to meet your flight home.
