A 4 days trekking tour on the Serra Geral range: the most stunning mountain scenery of South Brazil

Only a few hours by road from Florianopolis airport you will be in the stunningly beautiful Serra Geral mountain range. With peaks reaching up to 1800m above sea level, this is the coldest part of Brazil.

Having as a base a charming mountain lodge, you will explore its lush canyons, pristine mountain rivers, waterfalls, and araucaria forests by foot and experience the culture of the highland gauchos.

Itinerary / Highlights

Day 1: Morning transfer from Florianopolis airport or hotel (4 hours drive), accompanied by an English-speaking guide, to Refúgio Rio Canoas, arriving early afternoon. Rest of the day free.

Day 2: Full-day trek of your choice. Return to base for afternoon tea and dinner.

Day 3: Full-day trek of your choice. Return to base for afternoon tea and dinner.

Day 4: After breakfast, return to Florianopolis airport or hotel.
