Itinerary / Highlights
Program of the dayMeet at your city hotel with your guide.
Departure from Chiangmai by covered pick-up truck.
We drive the road direction north, to reach the Mae Sa valley area.
We eventually reach a small village, our trek starting point.
After a brief visit, we will start our hike through the surrounding forest, for approximately 1 1/2 hour, reaching a small Karen village.
Meet with our vehicle and drive to a local restaurant for lunch.
After a delicious Thai meal, we will start our mountain-biking exploration, winding around various trails and country lanes criss crossing the valley.
We will have the opportunity to stop in a few Temples and witness the rice farmers daily life.
The cycling distance is approximately 30 km with a few short fun off road sections. However, we can reduce this distance if you want to stop at some of the area’s tourist attractions, like an orchid nursery, or buffalo farm.
As a private trip, this can be discussed with your guide.
We end the cycling and clean up at the Buffalo farm, and have a hot tea or coffee, before we drive you back to Chiangmai and drop you off at your hotel.
