Located on the Mozambique Channel in the coastal town of Morondava, a friendly, safe and relaxed location. The hotel is located on the beach on Nosy Kely where the 'mora mora' (slowly slowly') spirit is alive and well.

Under the direction of head chef, Nirina, we serve some of the best cuisine in the Menabe Region featuring fresh seafood, with a wide variety of salads and speciality dishes.

Itinerary / Highlights

Morondava is the gateway to many of the attractions of western Madagascar and the list of exciting activities is long and varied.

The Chez Maggie faces west and is located directly on the Mozambique Channel with a long, clean and inviting beach just outside your door. Local dhow sail boats are available for hire and the water is warm, just right for swimming and body surfing. Or you may prefer to lounge by the pool, stroll to the market, and end your day enjoying a cool drink with the setting sun.

We're happy to assist with arrangements for excursions to many of the unique attractions throughout the area.

Whether you stay in the "The Penthouse", the "The Captain's Cabin", or the "The Honeymoon Chalet", the bungalows of the Chez Maggie assure you a splendid and relaxing time.
