Looking for an unusual vacation? We're not a big travel company with dozens of agents ready to sell you a canned trip run by others. We are Amy Finger, Gary Ziegler and a small staff of successful, educated real life explorers and educators who operate our own programs in partnership with highly experienced local field staff.

When you contact us, you reach our solar powered, wood stove-heated 1886 log cabin office at Bear Basin Ranch in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. Perhaps Gary is in Peru, Amy in Mexico or the staff out pushing cows but one of us will return your call or e-mail. You can count on communicating personally with someone who genuinely lives adventure with hands on knowledge of our programs.

Gary is a Peruvian-trained archaeologist having spent a life-time studying the Inca and he knows the Copper Canyon in Mexico as well as anybody. He has helped produce and appears as an expert in specials on the Discovery Channel, History Channel's Digging for the truth , BBC and NPR's Science Friday.
