Everest High Passes
This spectacular trek will more than satisfy the ambitious trekker keen on crossing high passes without the commitment of any technical climbing. Heading towards Everest we cross the Kongma La to the Everest Base Camp and Kala Pattar. After observing the classic climbing routes to the summit of Everest we complete a spectacular traverse over the Cho La to the alpine pastures and lakes of Gokyo. From Gokyo Ri we gain further outstanding views of Everest before heading over the Renjo La to the wild upper Bhote Kosi. During our time in this remote region we have the opportunity to attempt a number of non-technical routes on peaks that are well within the capabilities of the fit and experienced trekker – before returning to Kathmandu.
