Everest Circuit
An unsurpassed three week trek that takes in all the highlights of our ‘Gokyo Lakes' trek and our ‘Everest Base Camp' as well as including a traverse of the Cho La – the high pass linking Gokyo Lakes and the Base Camp.
The trek includes spectacular views of Everest from Gokyo Ri and Kala Pattar as well as spectacular 360 degree views of the innumerable peaks and glaciers for which this region is world renown. We also savour splendid alpine campsites while our crew will ensure memorable experiences in the villages and monasteries of the Khumbu region including Namche Bazaar and Thyangboche Monastery.

Day 1 Join Kathmandu
Day 2 In Kathmandu, sightseeing Kathmandu Valley
Day 3/4 Fly to Lukla, commence trek through Sherpa villages
Day 5/6 Arrive Namche Bazaar, rest and acclimatise
Day 7/10 Slowly ascend through Sherpa villages and yak grazing pastures to the serene Gokyo Lakes
Day 11/12 Ascend Gokyo Ri (5483m) to view Everest, Makalu, Lhotse and Cho Oyu
Day 13/16 Cross Cho La (5420m) to Lobuche and Khumbu Glacier
Day 17 Ascend Kala Pattar (5545m) to gain uninterrupted views of Everest
Day 18/20 Trek via the Thyangboche Monastery to Khunde and Khumjung
Day 21/22 Return trek to Lukla
Day 23 Fly Lukla to Kathmandu
Day 24 In Kathmandu
Day 25 In Kathmandu, trip concludes. |
