& Highlights |

Day 1 Kathmandu - Experience the eclectic sights of Kathmandu. The monkey temple of Swayambhunath is well worth a visit, as are the street markets and old-world Durbar Square.
Day 2 Bandipur - Perched high on a ridge, the trading village of Bandipur offers us our first glimpse of the Annapurna Ranges. Explore the village and its ornately carved Bindabasini temple, always in sight of amazing mountain views.
Days 3-19 The Annapurna Circuit - Set among some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, the Annapurna Circuit is a challenging but incredibly rewarding trek. For almost three weeks we immerse ourselves in the beautiful mountain wilderness of the ranges as we complete a loop around the Annapurna Range. Stay in cosy teahouses where simple yet filling meals sustain our efforts. Amid the rugged mountain scenery, meet warm and welcoming locals herding yaks and goats on the grassy pastures and experience the ancestral traditions and customs of the different mountain communities. Visit remote monasteries, cross icy rivers, traverse broad plains and mountain passes, the highest of which reaches 5,416m.
Day 20 Pokhara - Exhilarated and ready to celebrate, it's time to hop on a bus and travel to the lovely town of Pokhara. This is the perfect base to rest our weary limbs, contemplate a tremendous achievement and enjoy the mountain views from one of the many lakeside cafes.
Days 21-22 Kathmandu - Returning to Kathmandu, there is time to continue sightseeing or do some last minute shopping. The options are plentiful, with many markets selling Nepali specialties which include clothes, embroidery, carpets and ceramics |
